The 23-year-old Dagestani fighter, who trains at Abdulmanap's school, secured a standing grip before taking down his opponent and finishing the fight. All seven of Amirzanov's career victories have been finishes, with six coming by submission including two guillotines, an arm-in ezekiel, ninja choke, and rear-naked choke. He competes at bantamweight and comes from a striking background as the son of Thai boxing and kickboxing coach Anvarbek Amirzanov.
