The 23-year-old Dagestani fighter secured the win via reverse arm triangle after taking the fight to the ground from a standing clinch. All seven of Amirzhanov's victories have been finishes, with six coming by submission including two guillotines, a rear-naked choke, and other creative techniques. Fighting at bantamweight, Amirzhanov trains under Abdulmanap's school and comes from a striking background, being the son of Thai boxing and kickboxing coach Anvarbek Amirzhanov.
