The 23-year-old Dagestani fighter secured a standing choke, took his opponent down, and finished with an inverted arm triangle. All seven of Amirzhanov's victories have been finishes, with six coming by submission including two guillotines, an anaconda, a ninja choke, a rear naked choke, and now the inverted arm triangle. He competes at bantamweight and trains at Abdulmanap's school, with a background in Muay Thai and kickboxing under his father Anvarbek Amirzhanov's coaching.
