Chimaev's Brother Reveals Severe Weight Cut Issues Before Strickland Loss

Khamzat Chimaev's brother disclosed that Chimaev experienced serious problems during his weight cut for UFC 328, with his body failing when 1.2 kg remained. A doctor was called, and though the team considered canceling the bout, they ultimately decided to continue cutting weight. The brother believes the fight should have been canceled due to Chimaev's condition. Following the loss to Sean Strickland, Chimaev has requested a rematch in Abu Dhabi this fall.
