Chimaev had weight cut issues before Strickland loss, wants Abu Dhabi rematch

Khamzat Chimaev's brother revealed that Khamzat experienced serious problems during his weight cut for the Strickland fight. With 1.2 kg remaining to lose, his body shut down and a doctor was called. Despite concerns that the fight should have been canceled, the decision was made to continue cutting weight and he eventually made it. According to his brother, the fight should have been called off due to these complications. Chimaev has now requested a rematch with Sean Strickland for the fall at a UFC event in Abu Dhabi.
