Topuria brothers' grandfather recalls Ilia and Alexander's childhood in Georgia

Yuza Kereselidze, grandfather of UFC champion Ilia Topuria and his brother Alexander, shared memories of raising the brothers at his home in Rustavi, Georgia. He recalled that Ilia showed exceptional determination from age five, once cycling 20-30 kilometers without rest. Alexander demonstrated selflessness by climbing fences to bring lemonade to other children, despite never consuming sweets himself. The grandfather remembered young Ilia's deep patriotism, hiding car keys to prevent visitors from leaving and begging to be taken to Georgia. When Ilia won the championship belt, Kereselidze celebrated by hosting a street party and toasting every passerby. He noted that Ilia would fall silent when scolded, while Alexander would argue.
