Topuria's grandfather recalls Ilia and Sandro as hardworking children in Georgia

Yuza Kereselidze, grandfather of UFC champion Ilia Topuria and his brother Alexander, shared memories of raising the brothers in Rustavi, Georgia. He described how Ilia showed exceptional determination even at age five, riding 20-30 kilometers daily on his small bicycle without complaint. Alexander was known for his selflessness, stealing lemonade from a neighbor not for himself but to share with other children who couldn't climb the fence. The grandfather recalled that Ilia, even as a very young child, expressed deep love for Georgia and would hide car keys from German visitors, begging them to take him back to his homeland. When Ilia won his UFC title, Kereselidze celebrated by inviting every passerby to his home in Rustavi to toast his grandson's achievement.
