18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian Combat Sambo Championship

Demid Volkov became the Russian Combat Sambo champion in the 88 kg division at just 18 years old. Volkov trains under Alexander Korshunov and spars with Denis Goltsov, Artur Mokhnatkin, and Khadis Ibragimov. He also won the junior MMA championship in the 93 kg category, defeating 17-year-old Platon Lebedev in the final.
