18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian Combat Sambo championship

Demid Volkov became Russian Combat Sambo champion in the under-88kg division at age 18. Volkov trains under Alexander Korshunov and spars with Denis Goltsov, Mokhatkin, and Khadis Ibragimov. He also won the junior MMA championship in the under-93kg category by defeating 17-year-old Platon Lebedev through clinch work, takedowns, and ground control.
