18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian Combat Sambo Championship

Demid Volkov has become Russia's Combat Sambo champion in the 88kg category at just 18 years old. The St. Petersburg prospect recently defeated Platon Lebedev in the junior MMA championship final in the 93kg division. Volkov trains under Alexander Korshunov and spars with Denis Goltsov, Sergey Mokhnatkin, and Khadis Ibragimov.
