18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian Combat Sambo title

Demid Volkov became the Russian Combat Sambo champion in the 88 kg division in March at age 18, one of the youngest ever to claim the title. The St. Petersburg fighter trains under Alexander Korshunov and spars with Denis Goltsov. Volkov also won the junior MMA championship at 93 kg, defeating Platon Lebedev in the final.
