18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian combat sambo title, trains with Goltsov

Demid Volkov became the Russian combat sambo champion in the 88kg division in March at age 18. The St. Petersburg native trains under Alexander Korshunov and spars with Denis Goltsov, Andrei Mokhnatkin, and Khadis Ibragimov. He also won the junior MMA championship in the 93kg division, defeating Platon Lebedev.
