UFC Macau weigh-in results: all fighters make weight for tomorrow's card

All fighters on the UFC Macau card cleared the scales Thursday, setting the stage for a full slate of bouts when the event goes live Friday at 11:00 Moscow time.

The main event features Song Yadong and Deiveson Figueiredo squaring off at bantamweight, with both men coming in at exactly 61.46 kg. In the co-main event, heavyweights Sergei Pavlovich and Tallison Teixeira were also on the mark, Pavlovich at 116.57 kg and Teixeira at 113.39 kg. Zhang Mingyang and Alonzo Menifield rounded out the notable weigh-ins, both making weight for their light heavyweight contest.

Teixeira, nicknamed "Xicao," is one of the more physically imposing prospects in the heavyweight division. The 26-year-old Brazilian trains out of Team Lucas Mineiro and carries a 9-1 record into the fight. Ranked thirteenth at heavyweight, he stands six-foot-seven with an 83-inch reach and has shown genuine finishing ability, landing 5.02 significant strikes per minute at a 64 percent accuracy rate while also averaging 2.48 takedowns per 15 minutes.

Zhang Mingyang, known as "Mountain Tiger," brings a 19-7 record to his light heavyweight matchup. The 27-year-old stands six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach and is among the more active strikers on the card, averaging 7.71 significant strikes per minute at 60 percent accuracy.
