Fedor Emelianenko is making headlines away from the cage, racking up impressive mileage numbers on his smartwatch since picking up the device in March 2026.

The 49-year-old Russian heavyweight legend, nicknamed "The Last Emperor," has accumulated 165 points on his fitness tracker, a total that comfortably outpaces his FedorTeam training partner Vadim Nemkov, who sits at 72 points. To put those figures in perspective, each half-marathon completed earns only four points, meaning the distances involved are substantial.

Emelianenko, who carries a 36-5-0 professional record and stands six feet tall with a 74-inch reach, has long been regarded as one of the most dedicated competitors in combat sports history. His commitment to conditioning appears to extend well into what is the latter stage of his career.

Nemkov, also six feet tall but seven years younger at 32, holds a 19-2-0 record and boasts a slightly longer reach of 76 inches, or 193 centimeters. Despite being in the prime of his athletic career, the Russian light heavyweight finds himself more than 90 points behind his older teammate in this particular fitness contest.

Why it matters

  • Emelianenko's point total suggests a sustained cardio training block, noteworthy for a 49-year-old heavyweight
  • The gap between the two teammates highlights Fedor's unusually high training output relative to his age
  • Both fighters representing FedorTeam signals an active and competitive training environment within the camp
