Kai Asakura and Song Yadong each earned Performance of the Night bonuses at UFC Macau. Zhang Mingyang and Alonzo Menifield received the Fight of the Night award.
UFC Macau handed out four post-fight bonuses on May 30, 2026, rewarding a standout evening of action with Performance of the Night honors for Kai Asakura and Song Yadong, and the Fight of the Night award going to Zhang Mingyang and Alonzo Menifield.

Zhang Mingyang, nicknamed "Mountain Tiger," put his explosive striking on display to share Fight of the Night honors. The 27-year-old Chinese fighter carries a 19-7-0 record and is one of the more prolific hitters in the promotion, landing an eye-catching 7.71 significant strikes per minute at 60 percent accuracy. Standing six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach, Zhang operates out of an orthodox stance and relies almost entirely on his hands and feet, recording no takedowns and no submission attempts.

His co-recipient, Alonzo "Atomic" Menifield, is a 38-year-old light heavyweight from the United States who trains out of Saekson Muay Thai. Ranked 14th in his division with a career record of 17-6-1, Menifield stands six feet tall with a 76-inch reach. He lands 3.77 significant strikes per minute at 53 percent accuracy and adds a modest takedown threat at 0.5 per 15 minutes.
Kai Asakura earned a Performance of the Night bonus in the flyweight division. The 32-year-old Japanese fighter, representing Japan Top Team, holds a 21-6-0 record and is ranked 15th at 125 pounds. He stands five-foot-eight with a 69-inch reach.

Song Yadong also claimed a Performance bonus, rounding out the four-fighter bonus haul from the Macau card.

Why it matters
- Zhang Mingyang's bonus underlines his status as one of the division's most dangerous strikers by volume
- Menifield, at 38, remains competitive enough at light heavyweight to earn marquee recognition
- Asakura's bonus could strengthen his case for a higher flyweight ranking as he works toward the division's top ten
