Song Yadong's bonus adds to a growing résumé for the Chinese fighter, who competed in front of a home-region crowd in Macau. No additional verified statistics for Song Yadong were available in the database at time of publication.

Kai Asakura earned his Performance of the Night recognition in only his second UFC appearance since transitioning from Rizin. The 32-year-old Japanese flyweight, who trains out of Japan Top Team, carries a 21-6-0 record and is currently ranked 15th in the division. Standing five-foot-eight with a 69-inch reach, Asakura lands 2.27 significant strikes per minute.

The Fight of the Night bonus went to Zhang Mingyang and Alonzo Menifield for what the organization deemed the evening's most entertaining contest. Zhang, known as "Mountain Tiger," is a 27-year-old standing six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach and a 19-7-0 record. He lands an eye-catching 7.71 significant strikes per minute at a 60 percent accuracy rate. His opponent, 38-year-old American Alonzo Menifield, fights out of Saekson Muay Thai and holds a 17-6-1 record. Ranked 14th in the light heavyweight division, "Atomic" carries a 76-inch reach and connects on 53 percent of his significant strikes.

Why it matters

  • Zhang's elite striking volume of 7.71 significant strikes per minute made him a natural candidate for a Fight of the Night share.
  • Menifield, at 38 and ranked 14th at light heavyweight, likely needed a standout performance to remain relevant in a competitive division.
  • The additional $25,000 flat bonuses for finishers who made weight rewarded depth on the card beyond the three headline recipients.
