Alex Pereira Attempts to Become Only Second Triple Champion in UFC History

Alex Pereira is pursuing a third UFC title at the same age — 38 — that Vitor Belfort attempted an identical feat in 2015. Belfort had planned to become the first three-division champion in UFC history by defeating Chris Weidman at UFC 187 but was stopped by a Weidman knockout. Pereira, unlike Belfort, enters his triple-crown bid as the betting favourite.
