Former Jackson Wink general manager Mikhail Lyubimov has shared a series of revelations about the gym's top fighters. Jon Jones dominated every sparring partner including heavyweights and never remembered names — not even Jiri Prochazka's — while Jones once forced Roman Dolidze out of the gym after Dolidze repeatedly submitted his BJJ coaches. Lyubimov attributes the decline of the legendary Jackson Wink gym to burnout from both Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn, with Winkeljohn now spending more time in real estate than coaching. He also disclosed that Claressa Shields' MMA career stalled because she was extremely lazy in wrestling and grappling despite dominating everyone in boxing sparring, and that Cub Swanson permanently left the gym after Arman Ospanov broke his ribs with a spinning kick.
