Former Jackson-Wink general manager Mikhail Lyubimov shared a series of revelations about the storied gym, including that Jon Jones had no memory of sparring Jiri Prochazka despite the Czech fighter training there before his UFC run. Lyubimov also disclosed that Jones personally pushed for Roman Dolidze to leave the gym after Dolidze was giving both Jones and his BJJ black-belt coaches serious trouble in sparring. Additionally, Greg Jackson will not corner Josh Hokit at UFC White House due to Jackson's Democratic political convictions, and the decline of Jackson-Wink was attributed to burnout from both Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn. Lyubimov also highlighted the elite sparring-room level of Steve Garcia, noting that Nikolai Kiossei left sessions with Garcia visibly shocked.
