Current UFC light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg is absent from the latest pound-for-pound rankings update. This is not unprecedented — historical cases include Jan Blachowicz being left off the P4P list for two and a half months after winning the title at UFC 253, and Aljamain Sterling being removed during an extended period of inactivity while still champion. Dominic Cruz was also removed from the rankings in 2013 due to injury-related inactivity before eventually being stripped of his bantamweight title.
