The latest update to the UFC pound-for-pound rankings does not include light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg, a notable omission for a reigning titleholder. Historical precedent shows this has happened at least three other times: Dominic Cruz was removed from the P4P list in 2013 due to inactivity from injuries, Jan Blachowitz was left out for two and a half months after winning the vacant title at UFC 253, and Aljamain Sterling was eventually dropped from the rankings during an extended period of inactivity before returning after his second win over Petr Yan.
