Topuria suffers bilateral orbital and nose fractures after UFC White House loss to Gaethje

Ilia Topuria sustained fractures to both orbital bones as well as his nose in his UFC White House defeat to Justin Gaethje, according to close friend Pablo Motas, who visited him the morning after the event. Topuria has since been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home, though he was still unable to fully open his eyes following the injuries. Separately, authorities confirmed that a planned drone attack with explosives targeting the White House event was foiled by the FBI four days before the card.
