Cape stops Horiguchi in round three to extend knockout streak to four

Manel Kape defeated Kyoji Horiguchi by knockout in the third round in one of the most technically compelling fights of the year. Horiguchi had dominated the first two rounds with his trademark footwork and timing, but momentarily lingered at close range after landing a combination, giving Kape the opening to land a counter right hand and finish the fight. The victory gives Kape four consecutive knockouts in the flyweight division and moves him to first place in UFC flyweight knockout history with five finishes in the division.
