Nick Newell has reflected on his 2014 WSOF title fight loss to Justin Gaethje, describing Gaethje as virtually unstoppable once he finds his rhythm. Newell said Gaethje was one of only two fighters he has ever seen who continue to punch just as hard, output just as much volume, and press forward with the same intensity even when clearly fatigued. The other fighter Newell placed in that category was Dricus Du Plessis.
