The lightweight contender also took time to highlight what he views as exceptional natural talent in several fighters, drawing high-profile comparisons in the process.
Fiziev singled out Razhababali, Oralbai, and Justin Gaethje as gifted athletes he regards as standing apart from their peers. He placed them in the same conversation as Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Jon Jones when it comes to innate ability. Jones, now 38 years old, carries a 28-1-0 professional record and remains one of the most decorated fighters in the sport's history, standing six-foot-four with an 84-inch reach and averaging 4.38 significant strikes landed per minute across his career.
Fiziev also praised Shavkat Rakhmonov, the undefeated Kazakh welterweight ranked third in his division. Rakhmonov, 31, has gone 19-0-0 as a professional, representing DAR Team out of Kazakhstan.
