Shara Bullet has disclosed that he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight against Barrio, spending roughly two weeks bedridden with a temperature of 40°C, breaking out in pustules, and suffering hair loss. He returned to training only to find himself completely depleted, yet still traveled to Abu Dhabi and won the bout. Following the fight, Bullet underwent surgery and went two days without sleep as his body remained in an elevated state of alertness.
