Two new bouts have been confirmed for ACBJJ 21, the grappling event scheduled for July 5 in Moscow. Zubair Tukhugov will square off with Elves Brener at 80 kg, and Mairbek Taisumov has been matched with UFC veteran Gleison Tibau at the same weight class.

Tukhugov's opponent, Elves Brener, is a 28-year-old Brazilian out of Chute Boxe Diego Lima who carries a 16-6 professional record. In MMA competition, the six-foot, 178-centimeter fighter averages nearly four significant strikes landed per minute and has shown a well-rounded game, averaging 1.23 takedowns per 15 minutes.

Also added to the card is a meeting between Taisumov and Gleison Tibau, a longtime UFC lightweight known for his grappling-heavy style. The 80 kg weight class again serves as the agreed limit.

The event already boasts a notable supporting cast in the grappling format. Zabit Magomedsharipov, Rinat Fakhretdinov, and Raul Rosas Jr. are all listed to appear, as are Armen Petrosyan and Yusuf Raisov. Among those on the card, UFC middleweight Brendan Allen brings one of the more decorated MMA resumes. The 30-year-old American, ranked fifth in the UFC middleweight division with a 26-7 record, stands six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach and represents Kill Cliff FC. He averages 3.59 significant strikes per minute and attempts 1.1 submissions per 15 minutes, underlining the well-rounded skill set he will bring to the grappling format.

Petrosyan, a 35-year-old from Armenia with a 9-5 record, stands six-foot-three and carries one of the sharper striking outputs in the group at 5.84 significant strikes per minute in MMA.

Why it matters
- The Tukhugov-Brener and Taisumov-Tibau additions deepen an already star-studded ACBJJ 21 card
- Several active UFC athletes competing together on one grappling card raises the event's profile considerably
- The 80 kg weight class features twice on the same night, making it the focal point of the card's competitive matchmaking
