Shevchenko, known as "Bullet," enters as the reigning Women's Flyweight champion and one of the most decorated fighters in the division's history. The 38-year-old from Kyrgyzstan carries a record of 26-4-1 and trains out of Tiger Muay Thai. Fighting out of a southpaw stance at five-foot-five with a 66-inch reach, she lands 3.14 significant strikes per minute at an impressive 52 percent accuracy, and also contributes on the ground with 2.62 takedowns per 15 minutes — a well-rounded threat at every range.

Silva, the number-one ranked contender at flyweight, represents a significant challenge for any champion. The 29-year-old Brazilian out of Team Borracha holds a record of 20-5-1 and brings genuine finishing pressure, averaging 4.81 significant strikes per minute — among the highest output in the division. Standing five-foot-four with a 65-inch reach and also fighting southpaw, she is an aggressive volume striker who presses the pace from the opening bell.

Why it matters

  • A champion-vs-No. 1 contender matchup carries the full weight of a legitimate title fight, even in a co-main slot
  • Both fighters are southpaws, which sets up an intriguing mirror-stance battle with contrasting styles — Shevchenko's precision and grappling against Silva's relentless volume
  • A Silva victory would make her the immediate top candidate for a title shot; a Shevchenko win would further cement her standing as the division's standard-bearer
  • The October 3rd date is still subject to finalization, as the bout remains in the targeting stage
