Shara Bullet has revealed that he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight with Barrio, spending roughly two weeks bedridden with a fever of 40°C, skin breakouts, and hair loss. He returned to training only to find himself completely drained, and traveled to Abu Dhabi still weakened. Despite the ordeal, he won the bout, though he required surgery immediately afterward and went nearly two days without sleep as his body remained in a heightened state.
