Zubairah Tukhugov, Gleison Tibau Added to ACBJJ 21 Grappling Card

Two new matchups have been confirmed for the ACBJJ 21 grappling card, scheduled for July 5 in Moscow. Zubairah Tukhugov will meet Elves Brener at the 80 kg weight class, while Gleison Tibau is set to face Mairbek Taisumov at the same limit.

Tukhugov brings a combat sports background well-suited to a grappling stage, and his opponent Brener carries a professional MMA record of 16-6-0. The 28-year-old Brazilian, who trains out of Chute Boxe Diego Lima, stands five-foot-ten with a 72-inch reach and averages nearly four significant strikes per minute in MMA competition, though his grappling credentials will be put to the test here.

Gleison Tibau's contest with Taisumov adds another compelling layer to the card. The bout pits two experienced combat sports veterans against each other in a pure grappling format at 80 kg.

The event also boasts a star-studded lineup beyond these two additions. Zabit Magomedsharipov, Rinat Fakhretdinov, Raul Rosas, Brendan Allen, Armen Petrosyan, and Yusuf Raisov are all slated to compete. Allen, ranked fifth in the UFC middleweight division at 30 years old, trains with Kill Cliff FC and holds a 26-7-0 professional record. The six-foot-two American owns a 75-inch reach and has averaged 1.1 submission attempts per 15 minutes in MMA, making him a natural fit for a grappling showcase. Petrosyan, the 35-year-old Armenian known as Superman, carries a 9-5-0 record and stands six-foot-three, though his MMA profile skews heavily toward striking at 5.84 significant strikes landed per minute.
