Quick read
Shara Bullet has revealed he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight with Barroso, spending roughly two weeks bedridden with a 40-degree fever, skin sores, and hair loss. He flew to Abu Dhabi in a weakened state and was unable to train in the final days before the bout, yet managed to win the fight. Following the contest, Bullet underwent surgery and went two days without sleep as his body remained in a heightened state, and then struggled to breathe for two further weeks during recovery.
