Shara Bullet has opened up about battling dengue fever for roughly two weeks during his training camp ahead of his fight against Barrio, suffering a 40-degree fever, skin breakouts, and hair loss after being bitten by a mosquito at an open-mat grappling session in Thailand. Despite being severely weakened, he flew to Abu Dhabi and won the fight. He then underwent surgery immediately after the bout and spent two further days unable to sleep as his body remained in an adrenaline-fuelled state.
