Abdulrakhman Yakhyaev delivered one of the fastest knockouts in UFC history, stopping Julius Walker in just eight seconds at UFC Baku on June 27, 2026.

Yakhyaev, now 25 years old, is undefeated at 10-0 in mixed martial arts and has run through all three of his UFC opponents without reaching the second round. Two of those three victories have come inside the opening minute, and the finish of Walker extends a flawless first-round stoppage record across his entire UFC run. Speaking after the bout, Yakhyaev declared he is actively chasing all UFC speed records.

Julius Walker, known as "Juice Box," entered the fight at 7-3 and was coming in with genuine physical tools. The 26-year-old American, who trains out of Team Fusion, stands six-foot-four with a 78-inch reach and carries a striking accuracy of 53 percent along with a takedown rate of 4.09 per 15 minutes. None of those attributes had time to factor in against Yakhyaev's opening salvo.

Why it matters

  • At eight seconds, the stoppage ranks among the very fastest finishes in UFC history and puts Yakhyaev in rare company.
  • A perfect 3-0 UFC record with three first-round stoppages will almost certainly accelerate Yakhyaev's climb through the divisional rankings.
  • Walker, despite the loss, remains young at 26 with a physical frame and well-rounded skill set that gives him a path back into contention.
