PFL San Diego delivered a string of decisive finishes and dominant decisions on June 28, headlined by AJ McKee's unanimous decision victory over Salamat Isbulayev, with all three judges scoring the main event 30-27.

Liz Carmouche, the 42-year-old American veteran training out of The Arena, was one of the night's standout performers. Fighting out of an orthodox stance at five-foot-six with a 66-inch reach, Carmouche holds a 13-7-0 record and finished Viviane Araujo with a guillotine choke in round two. Carmouche connects on 54 percent of her significant strikes and averages 2.57 takedowns per 15 minutes, making her a consistent and well-rounded threat on the mat.

Araujo, the number-eight-ranked women's flyweight from Brazil, came in at 13-7-0 as well. The 39-year-old out of Cerrado MMA averages 3.84 significant strikes per minute and lands takedowns at a rate of 1.72 per 15 minutes, but she was unable to keep the fight on her terms against Carmouche's grappling pressure.

Elsewhere on the card, Alexander Shabliy earned a unanimous decision over Alfie Davis, with judges scoring the bout a clean sweep. Hassan Magomedsharipov wasted little time, submitting Joshua Weems with an arm-triangle choke in round one. Weems, the 32-year-old from Black Sails MMA, carries an 11-3-0 record and leads with high striking output — landing 5.25 significant strikes per minute at 64 percent accuracy — but Magomedsharipov was able to neutralize that threat quickly. Rob Wilkinson rounded out the notable results, stopping Abraham Bably by TKO in the second round.

- Carmouche's finish over a ranked flyweight in Araujo strengthens her standing in the women's division
- Shabliy and Magomedsharipov both posted clean wins that will factor into PFL playoff positioning
