Liz Carmouche turned in one of the night's most memorable performances, submitting Viviane Araujo with a guillotine choke in round two. Carmouche, 42, fights out of The Arena and carries a 13-7-0 record. The American veteran has built a reputation for consistent striking accuracy, landing at a 54 percent clip, and also averages 2.57 takedowns per 15 minutes — a blend of pressure and positional control that made the second-round finish feel inevitable. Araujo, ranked eighth in the women's flyweight division, came in at 13-7-0 as well. The 39-year-old Brazilian out of Cerrado MMA brought an active striking game, averaging 3.84 significant strikes per minute, but she could not weather Carmouche's grappling attack.

Elsewhere on the card, Alexander Shabliy shook off a lengthy layoff to outpoint Alfie Davis by unanimous decision, showing his conditioning and ring sharpness remained intact. Rob Wilkinson added a TKO stoppage over Abraham Bably in round two, and Hasan Magomedsharipov recorded a first-round submission finish over Joshua Weems via arm-triangle choke. Weems, 32, entered with an 11-3-0 record and had posted impressive numbers throughout his career, including a striking accuracy of 64 percent and 4.77 takedowns per 15 minutes for Black Sails MMA. Despite that well-rounded profile, Magomedsharipov ended the fight before Weems could settle into his rhythm.
