PFL San Diego delivered a full card of finishes and decisions on June 28, headlined by AJ McKee's unanimous decision victory over Salamat Isbulayev, with all three judges scoring the bout 30-27.

Alexander Shabliy shook off a lengthy absence to earn a unanimous decision win over Alfie Davis, signaling a notable return for the lightweight contender.

Liz Carmouche, the 42-year-old American veteran fighting out of The Arena, collected a second-round guillotine choke submission over Viviane Araujo. Carmouche carries a 13-7-0 record and brings consistent physical pressure to her bouts, averaging 2.57 takedowns per 15 minutes and connecting on 54 percent of her significant strikes. At 168 cm tall with a 168-cm reach, she demonstrated her grappling-heavy approach to secure the finish.

Araujo, 39, entered the contest at 13-7-0 and ranked eighth in the women's flyweight division, representing Brazil out of Cerrado MMA. The orthodox striker lands 3.84 significant strikes per minute and posts a 47 percent striking accuracy, but was unable to avoid Carmouche's clinch work long enough to see the third round.

Hasan Magomedsharipov added another first-round finish to the card, submitting Joshua Weems with an arm triangle. Weems, a 32-year-old American fighting out of Black Sails MMA, held an 11-3-0 record heading in and is one of the more active strikers on the roster, landing 5.25 significant strikes per minute at a 64 percent accuracy clip. He also averages 4.77 takedowns per 15 minutes but carries no submission attempts in his statistical profile, a contrast that proved costly against Magomedsharipov's ground game.

Rob Wilkinson rounded out the main card results with a second-round TKO stoppage of Abraham Bably.

Why it matters
- Carmouche's finish keeps her relevant in a women's flyweight division where Araujo held a top-ten ranking
- McKee's 30-27 sweep in the main event underlines his continued dominance at featherweight
- Magomedsharipov's first-round arm triangle over a high-volume, high-accuracy fighter like Weems strengthens his submission grappling credentials
