Oliveira, a 30-year-old Brazilian fighting out of Sombra Team, held the number 12 spot before the update. The switch-stance striker carries a 24-4-0 record and has shown consistent offensive output throughout his UFC tenure, landing 5.44 significant strikes per minute at 47 percent accuracy while also averaging 1.27 takedowns per 15 minutes. His removal creates the vacancy that benefits those ranked below him.

Raoni Barcelos slides upward following the change. The 39-year-old Brazilian veteran, who fights out of Laerte Barcelos Team, holds a 22-5-0 record and brings a well-rounded offensive game to the division, landing 4.92 significant strikes per minute at 51 percent accuracy and averaging 2.22 takedowns per 15 minutes, complemented by 0.6 submission attempts per 15 minutes.

The undefeated 28-year-old from England, training out of London Shootfighters, owns a perfect 15-0-0 record and stands as one of the more dangerous grapplers in the division, averaging 3.34 takedowns per 15 minutes. He also connects at 52 percent striking accuracy, landing 4.25 significant strikes per minute.

Why it matters

  • Oliveira's removal reshapes the lower tier of the bantamweight top 15, creating movement for multiple fighters
  • Barcelos moving up adds recognition for one of the division's more experienced veterans at 22-5-0
  • Basharat re-entering at number 15 re-establishes the unbeaten London Shootfighters product as a ranked contender in a deep 135-pound division
  • McGhee's upward shift further tightens the competition in the rankings bubble
