Dana White used the UFC’s 2026 seasonal press conference to unveil a major run of fight bookings, including UFC 324 and UFC 325 in January. The announcement centers on Justin Gaethje vs. Paddy Pimblett for an interim lightweight title and Kayla Harrison vs. Amanda Nunes in the women’s bantamweight title picture. White also revealed Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes 2 for Sydney, giving the featherweight division a clear next title chapter. The booking matters because it locks in multiple championship and contender-defining fights that will shape several divisions early in 2026.

The centerpiece of the announcement is an interim lightweight title fight between champion Justin Gaethje and ranked contender Paddy Pimblett. Gaethje, 37, carries a 28-5 record and is one of the most prolific strikers in the lightweight division, averaging 6.48 significant strikes per minute at 58 percent accuracy. The American, who trains out of Genesis Training Center, brings an elite stand-up game built almost entirely on forward pressure and power.
