Heavyweight contender Curtis Blaydes responded to what he described as provocative behavior from Josh Hewitt. Blaydes compared Hewitt's approach to that of Colby Covington, though he acknowledged that Covington was actually good at it. Blaydes stated that while Hewitt can occupy that niche if he wants to, it's not for him and he won't participate in it. He suggested that Hewitt is simply trying to create viral video moments and that interacting with him outside of fight week would be a waste of time. Blaydes made it clear he has no interest in engaging with Hewitt's antics except during their upcoming fight this weekend.
