Sedriques Dumas returns to UFC after 14th arrest since 2014 to face Mickey Gall

Sedriques Dumas is returning to the UFC Octagon despite a turbulent legal history, as the middleweight has been booked to face Mickey Gall at UFC Vegas 121 on September 26.

Dumas, 31, carries a 10-5 record into the bout and fights out of Team Remedy BJJ and MMA. The Florida-based fighter was removed from the UFC roster in July, but his reinstatement comes after MMA Junkie reported that his April 2025 arrest — on five charges including home invasion robbery, battery, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and drug-related offenses — was his 14th arrest in Escambia County since 2014. Dumas subsequently pleaded no contest to two of those charges, with three dropped, and was sentenced to six months of community control and 48 months of probation. Standing six-foot-two with a 79-inch reach, "The Reaper" lands around two significant strikes per minute at 44 percent accuracy and averages 1.34 takedowns per 15 minutes.

Gall, 34, enters at 7-7 and represents Kill Cliff FC. The switch-stance fighter stands six-foot-two with a 74-inch reach and is the more active striker of the two, landing 3.5 significant strikes per minute at 49 percent accuracy. He also poses a notable submission threat, averaging 1.6 submission attempts per 15 minutes — among the higher rates in the division.
