Quick read
Denise Gomes was ranked No. 5 in Sherdog’s women’s strawweight rankings in an article published September 21, 2026. The ranking followed her recent UFC Shanghai appearance, which Sherdog described as strengthening her position among the division’s leading contenders. Sherdog noted that Gomes’ momentum could put her in contention for a future matchup with divisional champion Mackenzie Dern. This is a ranking and title-picture update, not a fight-result report.
