Michael Page has signed a multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing, announced this past Saturday, after the UFC chose not to re-sign him following his decision win over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris in September. Page finished his UFC run 5-1, with his lone loss coming to Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 in June 2024. The 39-year-old said he feels "free of the shackles" and welcomes the creative freedom over his walkouts and entrances that he says he was not allowed in the UFC. Michael Page has found a new home in combat sports. The 39-year-old Englishman signed a multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing, announced this past Saturday, after the UFC opted not to re-sign him following his decision win over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris in September.
Page said the agreement came together quickly and was not locked in until days before the announcement. He described himself as "free of the shackles" and said he welcomes the creative freedom over his walkouts and entrances, something he says he was not permitted in the UFC.

Page's UFC run
Page, known as "Venom," carries a 26-3-0 record and fights out of London Shootfighters. He finished his UFC run 5-1, with his lone loss coming to Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 in June 2024. His final UFC appearance was the decision victory over Ruziboev in Paris.
The switch-stance striker stands six-foot-three with a 79-inch reach, a long frame he has used to build a 56 percent striking accuracy while landing 2.04 significant strikes per minute. Takedowns have never been part of his game, at 0.16 per 15 minutes.

The men on the other side of his UFC story
Garry, 28, is a welterweight ranked number one in the division, with a 17-2-0 record. The Orthodox fighter, nicknamed "The Future," lands 4.29 significant strikes per minute at 53 percent accuracy. His win over Page at UFC 303 remains the only blemish on Page's UFC ledger.
Ruziboev, 32, represents Uzbekistan and trains with UZB Patriot. He enters the picture with a 37-10-2 record and a six-foot-five frame with a 76-inch reach. He averages 1.52 takedowns per 15 minutes, though Page won the decision in Paris.

Why it matters
- Page leaves the UFC with a 5-1 record and a recent win, making this a departure on his own terms in terms of form.
- The Misfits deal gives him multiple fights and the creative control over entrances he says he lacked in the UFC.
- At 39, the move offers Page a new platform for the next stage of his career.
