Procházka returns as a top-ranked contender after his run as champion. A fight with a former titleholder is a major step up in competition for Stirling, who has yet to face an opponent with Procházka's résumé.

The Doha card also features a featherweight bout between Jamain Ortiz and Kevin Vallejos. Vallejos, a 24-year-old from Argentina who fights out of Brothers of Life MMA, is 18-1 and ranked ninth at 145 pounds. The switch-stance fighter stands five-foot-seven with a 68-inch reach and lands 6.12 significant strikes per minute at 48 percent accuracy. Tickets for the event were reported as available through Qatar's ticketing platform.
