Chris Padilla misses weight by 900 grams ahead of UFC 327

Twenty-three of 24 fighters successfully made weight for UFC 327, with Chris Padilla being the sole exception. Padilla came in 900 grams over the contracted weight limit for his bout. As a result, he will be fined 20% of his purse, which will be paid to his opponent Markel Mederos. Despite the weight miss, the fight between Padilla and Mederos will proceed as scheduled at UFC 327.
