Prochazka, the 33-year-old Czech Republic native competing out of Jetsaam Gym Brno, entered the bout ranked second in the division and carried a record of 32-6-1. Standing six-foot-three with an 80-inch reach, Prochazka is one of the most prolific strikers in the weight class, averaging 5.69 significant strikes landed per minute at 55 percent accuracy. The finish denied him what would have been a high-profile championship defense.
