Mateusz Gamrot is seeking a fight against a higher-ranked opponent in the UFC lightweight division following his submission victory at UFC 327. The Polish fighter stated he just needs a full training camp and will be ready for any challenge. Gamrot expressed willingness to rematch Arman Tsarukyan, whom he has already defeated once, if the UFC wants to make that fight. He emphasized that he doesn't care who the opponent is as long as they're ranked above him. UFC President Dana White confirmed during the post-fight press conference that Gamrot deserves a fight against a "big name" opponent. Gamrot's second-round submission of Esteban Ribovics demonstrated he's ready for elite competition in the stacked lightweight division.
