Dana White reveals how Lewis vs Hockit fight was arranged during UFC 327

Dana White shared the story of how they organized an additional fight for the White House event in just one hour during UFC 327. White asked Derrick Lewis if he wanted to compete at the event, and Lewis immediately agreed, asking White to thank the president. White then instructed matchmaker Mick Maynard to find a fight for Lewis, initially planning to discuss it the following week. However, when Joe Rogan mentioned during the broadcast whether there was still room on the White House card, White immediately grabbed Maynard and sent him to speak with Josh Hockit. Hockit was being loaded into an ambulance at the time but still gave his consent to take the fight.
