Quick read

American fighter Terrence McKinney has achieved the longest streak of consecutive finishes in UFC history with 13 straight stoppages. The list includes notable names like Royce Gracie and Gabriel Gonzaga with 11 finishes each, and Nikita Krylov also at 11. Other fighters at 10 consecutive finishes include Don Frye, Andrei Arlovski, and Luke Rockhold. The statistics count only fights from each fighter's UFC debut, which excludes some active fighters from consideration. If Jiri Prochazka and Tom Aspinall win their next fights by finish, they will join the group at 10 consecutive finishes.

Terrence McKinney has etched his name into UFC history by recording 13 consecutive finishes since his promotional debut, surpassing every other fighter in the organization's record books.

Jiri Prochazka

The American fighter stands alone at the top of a list that features some of the most feared finishers the sport has ever seen. Behind McKinney, legendary names such as Royce Gracie and Gabriel Gonzaga sit at 11 straight stoppages, joined by light heavyweight veteran Nikita Krylov at the same mark. The group with 10 consecutive finishes includes Don Frye, Andrei Arlovski, and Luke Rockhold. Rockhold, the 41-year-old American southpaw who competed at six-foot-three with a 77-inch reach, averaged four significant strikes landed per minute across his UFC career while also contributing on the mat with one submission attempt per 15 minutes.

It is worth noting that these streaks are measured only from each fighter's UFC debut, a methodology that removes some active fighters from contention entirely.

Two current competitors sit on the cusp of joining the ten-finish group. Czech Republic light heavyweight Jiri Prochazka, ranked second in his division at 33 years old, would reach the milestone with a finish in his next outing. Standing six-foot-three with an 80-inch reach, Prochazka lands 5.69 significant strikes per minute at 55 percent accuracy, making him one of the most dangerous finishers in the current roster. Tom Aspinall is in the same position and would also reach 10 consecutive finishes with a stoppage win next time out.

Why it matters

  • McKinney's 13-fight finish streak is the longest in UFC history by at least two stoppages
  • The streak is calculated from UFC debut only, a standard that excludes some prolific finishers from the rankings
  • Prochazka and Aspinall each need one more finish to join the all-time top group at 10
