In the heavyweight division, Josh Hockit moved up to No. 5, with Curtis Blaydes dropping to No. 6. The rankings reflect recent fight results and competitive shifts across multiple weight classes.
The UFC's latest divisional rankings update, released April 14, brings notable movement across three weight classes, headlined by Aaron Pico's entry into the featherweight top 15 and Josh Hockit's rise to fifth in the heavyweight division.

Pico, 29, makes his featherweight ranking debut at No. 13 after recent results earned him recognition from the UFC's panel. The Jackson-Wink MMA product carries a 14-5 record and brings a physically active wrestling-heavy game to the division, averaging an impressive 8.96 takedowns per 15 minutes. The American stands five-foot-eight with a 70-inch reach and fights out of an orthodox stance.

His entry pushes veteran Patricio "Pitbull" Freire down to No. 15. The 38-year-old Brazilian brings one of the most battle-tested resumes in the sport, holding a 37-9 record accumulated across a lengthy career. Pitbull fights out of an orthodox stance and stands five-foot-six, with a 67-inch reach and a submission rate of 0.6 attempts per 15 minutes rounding out his well-rounded skill set.

Elsewhere in the update, Paulo Costa enters the light heavyweight rankings at No. 7 following a recent victory. "The Eraser" is listed at 16-4 and is 35 years old, representing Brazil and training out of Team Borracha. Costa stands six-foot-one with a 72-inch reach and lands an eye-catching 6.26 significant strikes per minute at 58 percent accuracy, making him one of the most productive offensive strikers in any division. Azamat Murzakanov drops one spot to No. 8 in the wake of his recent loss.

In the heavyweight division, Josh Hockit climbs to No. 5 while Curtis Blaydes falls to No. 6.

Why it matters
- Pico's debut ranking signals the UFC's recognition of his featherweight potential and adds pressure on established contenders in the division
- Costa's immediate entry at No. 7 in light heavyweight makes him an instant contender in a second weight class
- Hockit at No. 5 heavyweight puts him within striking distance of the top four, tightening an already competitive division
