Chimaev spent $600-700k building wrestling gym in his Chechen village

Khamzat Chimaev revealed he spent approximately six hundred to seven hundred thousand dollars constructing a wrestling facility for children in his village in Chechnya. The fighter emphasized that his pursuit of money is motivated by the opportunities it provides to help others, including covering medical expenses for sick villagers who contact him. Chimaev dismissed critics who complain about his inactivity, stating he earns millions from UFC and even more outside of fighting due to his established name. He expressed satisfaction with his UFC pay and credits his brand value for attracting sponsorships and business opportunities.
